That last list of things that are worth celebrating was awesome. Darn right you're in venice and you're a cool person! 21, 26. 29, who cares? I stopped counting and it only gets embarrassing when I'm at the doctor's and I honestly don't my age.
i hope you are enjoying your birthday. i turn 26 this week and can confidentially say i understand a lot of the things you are feeling right now. i do not think there is a timeline for life, everyone is always on different trains headed to different places.
Second of all, I turned 30 last year and as you may imagine that hit a little harder and differently than any other birthday had ever felt. I used to dread every single year I got closer to 30, probably since I entered my twenties. Looking back, I see that 26,27,28 was SO young! And if there's one thing I regret is the fact that I wasted all of these years worrying about "already being too old". I know it's out of our control to have these thoughts, but just felt like dropping some "advice" here and telling you that 26 was such a fun age for me and although society tells you (to their advantage) that you should start taking life more seriously, you really don't need to!

In awe of your talent. I'm also turning twenty six in two weeks. I'm also terrified and anxious but also grateful and proud of the woman I am.
